Aaron Ropp '10 Recruiting Profile

Academically,I successfully completed my freshman year at the University of Nevada Reno. I am NCAA eligible, 20 years old, and have four years of eligibility (and involved in ongoing training and ready to begin my college football career). To obtain a scholarship and secure a position on a team as a student-athlete: *Having started as a quarterback in the past, I understand offensive schemes better than most linebackers. *Studying and critiquing my film since eighth grade gives me an advantage. *Easily coachable; play in position; can make quick adjustments. *Able to utilize angles off the blockers and to the ball carriers. *Knowledge of the game; passion for the game. To receive a college education and obtain meaningful, gainful employment after graduation in order to make a positive difference in the world. *Currently, I am a Health Sciences major, with an interest in physical therapy and rehabilitation. *However, my biggest aspiration is to become a college football coach with an emphasis in recruiting student-athletes with intense physicality and good character. Therefore, I plan to earn a graduate assistant position after I am through playing ball.
