Personal Statement

I've played football since I was seven years old, starting with flag football. I have been training as a quarterback for four years now. I spent two years with Coach Dick Van Raaphorst and one year with Coach Jeff Garcia. Most recently, I trained with QB coach Sam Mora, who used to work under George Whitfield before starting his own business.

My goal is to play college football as a quarterback. Some of my strengths as a QB are that I have a strong leadership presence on and off the field, as my teammates look up to me during practice and games, and my classmates look up to me in the classroom. I have a very strong passion for the game of football. In my opinion it is truly the greatest sport ever created and it is THE American sport. I have a high motor along with this passion and fire. I love to get excited on crazy plays and lead some wild chants pregame. I always do whatever is best for the team because I want to see my team be successful. Of course, I am focused on creating the best possible future for myself, but the team always comes first. That's what football is: a team game.

I have been complimented frequently on my arm strength, accuracy, and mechanics. Once I find my target, the ball is out of my hand and where it needs to be. I am also very football smart. I learn formations and plays quickly and frequently correct teammates pre-snap so they are in the right position.

Academics-wise, I've always had straight A's in the classroom. With my goal to play college football, I know i must get it done in the classroom as well, so I always work hard to get my homework done and achieve my goals of all A's each year.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
