Enrique Hernandez '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Enrique "Kike" Hernandez.  I am currently a student (Junior) at Calaveras High School in Valley Springs, CA. I have always wanted to play football,  but my family was initially afraid I'd get hurt. When they finally decided I could play, COVID hit and I was not able to start playing until the 8th grade. Football has taught me to be a leader as well as a team player. I have learned to be responsible and accountable for what I do as many times my team relies on me. I am hard working and dedicated both in the field and out. I like to stay fit by doing various sports year round as well as going to the gym. When I'm not playing a sport or in the gym, I'm helping my parents with house work or renovations. My education is also very important to me. I have been taught to always do the best I can in all aspects of my life. My goal is to obtain a degree while still being able to play in the field. I'm looking for an institution that will allow me to achieve my educational goals while playing the sport that I love.
