Jake Poole '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jake Poole, and I am a multi-sport athlete at San Clemente High School in Southern California.  It’s always been my goal to be the first athlete in my family to play at the collegiate level. 

I was awarded the IRON MAN team football award because I never come off the field. I play WR, FS, CB, K, Special Teams returner. Below are my sophomore season stats:

1186 total yards in receiving and rushing

8 TDs, 647 yards, 32 receptions at WR

3 INTs at FS

1 INT at CB

1 TD, 539  rushing yards, at special teams punt and kick-off returns

12 PATs and 8 kick off touch backs as Kicker

My coaches would say I am humble, driven, responsible and competitive. I also play soccer and was defensive player of the year. My soccer development has complimented my football skills with agility, speed, balance and core lifts. I can outlast others on the field with my endurance and field awareness. 

 In addition to my sports practices, I workout on my own, continuously improving my strength and running technique. I teach private lessons in soccer to younger players, and volunteer at a local faith-based organization that provides food and shelter resources. I have done all of  this while maintaining a 4.5 GPA, taking honors classes.

I would like to attend a university where I can make a difference playing football, carrying on tradition and a winning culture, and balance my studies as a scholar athlete.
