Ian Hawkins '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was three and have loved and enjoyed the game. I am a leader on the field and help the coach to teach other kids, whether that be helping them learn a new drill, or showing them how to do something. I just joined a new club team and have really grown a great relationship with the coach. I help to encourage kids if they make a mistake because we all make mistakes and there is no reason that they need to feel worse then we already do. I have been playing soccer for a long time and have a feel for the game. I have been getting keeper training since I was 9 and have had lots of experience playing in goal. Transitioning into high school has been a great experience but also challenging. There are some class that can be challenging, so when I do need help I go and get help from an NHS tutor.
