April 2021Personal Statement
Tennis is a huge part of my life. I started when I was about 5 years old and have had a standing private lesson every Saturday at 10am. As the years go on my love for tennis keeps growing and my drive to improve increases. During the week I practice 6-7 days a week. I attend clinics, set up hits, and practice matches. On the weekends I love to play tournaments. With every tournament I enter there are endless opportunities to learn and improve. I have played on the Varsity team all 4 years. I served as team captain my junior year and will be captain for the upcoming season as well. I am a leader, and am so familiar with the game that I make a great captain by setting up winning lineups and encouraging my teammates. Last season I made it to the quarter finals of state with my mixed doubles partner.
