Playing for Coach Chris Hauser at Mission Hills High School was a great experience. The winning mentality of his program helped instill values and habits that I will carry with me forever. I never wanted to leave.
Moving to a new school my junior year provided a big challenge for me. Arriving late to camp, and not knowing any of the coaches or players was daunting. I had to win over my coaches and teammates. Becoming the starting Varsity quarterback at Del Norte High School was in some ways my biggest accomplishment. At the end of the year I was honored to receive the coveted “Nighthawk” award.
My Senior year we were able to turn the program around and have the best season in school history. This experience taught me that you don’t have to just pick a winning program but you have to bring a winning mentality to the program that you attend.
I’m looking for a college that is a good fit for me athletically and academically. I know that I will bring stability, leadership, and good decision making skills to the quarterback position of any team that I am fortunate enough to play for
Additionally, I’m excited to pursue a higher education, preferably in the field of law.
