My goal as a football player is to excel as a kicker and take full advantage of academics. Being a kicker has turned out to be a good match for me. I am level- headed and I do not stress under pressure. An example is when in 2019, Francis Parker made it to the Division V CIF championship game. It was rainy, cold and a very close, tough game. The winning points game down to me. I had to make (or not make) the 30 yard field goal. I couldn't feel my feet. I made the field goal and we won the CIF championship In the last 23 seconds of the competition. I went 45/47 for PATs and 5/6 for Field Goals in my junior year at Francis Parker School. Other strengths include: Involvement in community activities (Presidential Bronze Award), commitment to family and friends, being a team player and encouraging everyone to perform at their best. I have gained leadership skills through my experience being on the Leadership Council at TVIA (Teen Volunteers In Action) and I will be Team Captain of the football team next year and will clearly gain further leadership skills with other activities.
