After playing football every year since the 2nd grade, I fell in love with it especially for the lessons it teaches us on and off the field. Through my Pop Warner career, my team was always dominant. But after losing the San Diego 7th grade Pop Warner championship by a point, it changed my whole mindset. I wondered if a couple more reps, and a couple less skipped workout days, maybe we could have won that game. That experience helped me grow as a person by humbling and molding the work ethic I now have today.
Unlike others I take this work ethic into everything I do. Whether its in the classroom, on the field, or helping out around my home and community. I am looking for a school which fits me athletically as well as academically. I believe not only can I play college football for my talent, but also for my work ethic, leadership, and passion for the game. As a 5 time team captain and all around rare athlete with leadership skills, I feel I can make an immediate impact on whichever program I may attend.
