I had to wait for my chance to play when I first started because there were kids older than me but that just drove me to keep working and bettering myself until I finally got my opportunity. I'm definitely a blue collar player! There's not going to be a lot of flashy things from me because I focus more on the game as a whole and play football making sure I make the play and ready myself for the next play.
As much as I love this game my academics always come first! I don’t think most people understand that there is way more of a mental aspect to football it’s kind of like a physical chess match. That’s why my academics are so important to me. Being at the top of my game in the classroom helps keep my mind sharp in football.
My goals are to keep playing football at the highest level I can achieve and for as long as I’m lucky enough to play. I really want to graduate college with a degree in kinesiology and get my Athletic Training certificate so I can continue to be involved in sports after my playing days are done.
