Jack Krill '22 Recruiting Profile

I have loved football for as long as I can remember but I did not start playing until high school. I played soccer through most of my childhood and so it was only natural for me to become a kicker. Being my high school's varsity kicker as a sophomore was a great experience that allowed me to grow both as an athlete and as a young man. The most influential experiences during my high school career have not been the wins and days where everything went well but rather the losses and days when things went sideways. These losses not only fueled me to work harder and be a better athlete, but they also taught me how to deal with hard times in both sports and life.

My biggest inspiration is my older brother who was our high schools' kicker before me, and he has influenced me to be both excel athletically and academically. He is currently a student-athlete at Johns Hopkins University and I hope to follow in his footsteps to be one of the top students in my class academically and attend a university where I can both continue to play football and grow academically.
