Dear coaches and staff,

My name is Jonathan Villafaña. I'm 5'7, 150 pounds, my 40 time is 5.16, my shuttle is 4.8, bench press 145, squat 215, vertical 22.1, 3 cone drill 7.7, and broad jump is 87. I played quarterback and wide receiver at Royal High School (Class of 2019). I'm currently a sophomore in college and I'm looking for an opportunity to play at the next level. I believe my leadership skills and my love for football are qualities that definitely separate me from other recruits because most other recruits just want to make it to the pros, but for me its different. I love the 6 am workouts, I love getting hit/dealing hits, the feelings of game day, the chills that you get from the fans screaming, pressure to succeed both on and off the field, respect for every aspect of the game, but most importantly I love the family that comes with being apart of a team. Leading brothers into battle against an opponent is something I've learned from my time in high school, being able to pick them up when they fall and celebrate with them when we are victorious, giving words of wisdom when they are needed, and showing emotion when the situation calls for it. I don't believe that the film attached to this profile accurately shows the kind of football player I'm due to my limited time on the field, but if given the opportunity I know I can be the dynamic football player I believe/know I can be for a team.
