What makes me different from other recruits is, since I was little, my dad and I would always play sports together; after he came home from work, we would always be doing something, either basketball, football, baseball, or anything outdoors-related. Another thing that differentiates me from the other recruits is that other athletes would see football as just a sport, but I see it as more than just a game or a sport. When I'm on the field I see the game as my family even; though my teammates aren't actually related to me, the game of football makes it to where I see my own family out there, such as my Dad, Mom, and sister out there on the field and it's just us playing together as a family when I was little. This motivates me to keep going because I can not let those memories become lost or forgotten. One might ask why is it so important you will make more memories, but you see, my dad died in the line of duty when I was four years old, and that is all I have to remember him. Out in the field, he is there with me; that is what makes me different from other athletes. From a grade perspective, I'm an A-B student, and whenever I don't pass a class, I will give up my summer so I can change the failing grade to get the grade I want.
