I am currently at Saddleback Junior College
I always considered myself a baseball player. I grew up watching my brother play baseball and I started playing it at five years old. I played Pop Warner for one year but once I became the quarterback, there wasn't another sport for me. I realized back in Pop Warner football, this was where my heart was; not baseball. In football, there is more team work, more spirit. I love this game and want to play college football.
I have had a few losses in my life; my great-grandfather for one. Another loss was my friend, Jesse, who was a star player in both football and baseball at South High School. We lost him when I was in the middle of a police explorer academy, my sophomore year. At the academy graduation, I was voted to give the graduating class speech. When writing my speech, I realized how much Jesse influenced me. He was kind, committed, and a team player, all the while being the star. Losing Jesse and making it through the academy at the same time told me a lot about myself. I do not give up. When the going gets tough, I get stronger.
I am proud of my commitment to my grades (which are currently at 3.8) and to graduating from a four-year college while playing football at the collegiate level. My college goals are to graduate in the health science field and to become a college football coach and coach maybe for you in the future.
