My passion for Waterpolo didn't start right away unlike other players. It took me a while before I really got into the game. Waterpolo is one of the hardest sports, physically and mentally. You had to know where the ball is and where it is going before it gets there. And for me that was hard at first. In my first Junior Olympics with my club team I had a total of about three to five minutes of playing time in all of our games combined. After that, I realized that I needed to improve for obvious reasons. I started to have one on one conversations with my club coach at the time because I felt like I had it in me I felt like I could be way better than was. As the new season began I started getting faster and faster and way more elusive in the pool, and before I knew it I was getting more playing time and later on even starting. I then became excited and joyful every time I went to practice, took the first stroke as I jump in the pool. When I began my freshman year I was thrilled to play my first year of high school water polo. I was one of the best players on the team and that boosted up my self-confidence which made me more confident with taking shots outside of five meters. It also helped with my leadership capabilities and awareness. My goal as a sophomore currently is only to improve and to get faster and also focus on my education.
