I am Rocco Garaffa and I will be graduating from Aspen High School in 2027. I am a determined person who will do anything to obtain my goals, and I have been that way my whole life. My goal is to play football at the highest level possible and it always has been. I also aspire to go to a good big academic collage with fun people and fun football. Id love to play for one of the big 10 schools and make a big difference on the team. I perform highly in academics because I know that my athletic ability's has no benefit if I cant preform in school. A lot of people ask me why I love football and I have never truly answered that question in a sentence. I honestly could write a book of why I love football and leave key parts out, because football is so much more than just a sport. It builds something that I believe cannot be taken down nor described. I think you simply have to play the sport to truly understand why I think this. There is a felling that happens when the season starts or ends, or when you think you're going to have a kidney stone because you're opponent is double you're size. That feeling is a indescribable feeling that only happens when you're on the field. I play hockey in the winter which is very challenging but also is one of the most fun sports you can play. It keeps me disciplined and in shape for football and also creates great connections with good people just like football. Currently in my past season of hockey I won the "Daily" award which is given out annually to the person with the strongest Caracter on the team.
I think I am a good candite for you're team because I think that I have a strong determined character, and A well disciplined and well trained athletic ability that could change a team for the best. What makes me different then everyone else is that I change a entire teams momentum by the way I carry myself. Manny people wont like me because of my character but I know that its all a part of the journey. ill know that it wont be easy, it will be a challenge. I also preform very well in school with a 8th grade GPA of 3.92. I follow through in football by training every day and preforming well on the field to obtain my goals. I keep the same disciplined and determined character on and off the field that is empowered by God.
