I have been playing football since I was nine years old, beginning with flag football. Since I first became serious about the sport, I have worked on becoming more proficient and in improving my athletic abilities to achieve my goal of playing quarterback at the collegiate level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity that could change my whole life.
I have learned that listening to my coaches has been one of the best ways at improving my skills and getting a complete understanding of the game. In addition, my personal trainer has taught me the importance of hard work, dedication and commitment in order to get bigger, faster and stronger.
No matter what position I have played, I am a team leader that has worked on leading by example while also encouraging and motivating my teammates. As stated by one of my assistant coaches, I am very coachable and strive to be one of the hardest working players, both on the field and in school, and one of the hardest working recruits you’ll find.
During school, my parents and coaches have taught me the importance of studying hard and maintaining a high GPA. At present (11th grade) I have a 3.116 GPA. I was a member of the Fairview Crops & Livestock 4-H club, having been a member for over nine years!
After talking with my coaches, athletic trainer, my QB coach, and with the support from my parents, I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the football field. I am open to all options and want to ultimately find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible.
I hope to become a great role model to all my peers and make my parents proud!!
