Jay McCoy '20 Recruiting Profile

I strive to be the he best person I can be on the field and off.  My parents have taught me to work hard and play hard.  Giving everything I can to what I am doing to work towards being the athlete I am capable of being.  I am hoping to be an engineer and also have dreams of putting that education to good use when helping out with my Dad's family farm business.  Currently I play right guard on offense and middle line backer on defense.  After two games into the 2017 season I was asked to suite up the remainder or the season with Varsity, but I also play J.V. Offensive and Defense full time.  In 2016 I was Offensive/Defensive Linebacker of the year.  I have a 3.5 currently for GpA and know that I have to work harder than others to maintain those grades but have worked hard on using my discipline in sports to be disciplined in my academics.
