Jake McAlinden '20 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals and aspirations focus on success both academically and athletically.  Football is my drive, my passion and my life.  I am a leader, motivator and game changer.  Football has motivated me to make positive choices socially and academically.  Academics have not always been my strength,  but I am willing to work for everything that I receive and go the extra mile.  My character is displayed in the volunteering of my time to special education students at my school.  I have participated in an adaptive physical education program with students that have special needs and disabilities.  I have assisted and supported my peers and use my abilities to help teach basic athletics.  I volunteer in my town for community organizations and have become a more confident and positive person for this.  I believe that this volunteering, my commitment and my heart sets me apart from other football players.
