Brendan Gilchrist '23 Recruiting Profile

I played football in New Canaan Ct, during my time there I was picked as a captain multiple times, along with my fellow team mates we won our conference every year since I came to play for New Canaan. I played every single down on offense and defense and never backed down. I won multiple awards from my team and the conference on both offence and defense dominating on the field. In 2019 last football season as a freshman my coaches made me one of the three captains on the team. As the season started my freshman coaches quickly say that I was dominating at the freshman level, and I achieved one of my first goals, playing varsity as a freshman. I started off just playing on special teams and as the season went on my coaches say my potential and started me on defense. As the season started to come to an end I proved myself and on varsity alone playing as a defensive end had multiple tackles and caused and retrieved multiple fumbles.

I'm constantly driven by my competitors to be better than them. I aspire to play at a D1 College and go pro.
