Hi Coaches I'm Nolan Pendergast and I believe I would be a great addition to your special teams unit. I am a junior kicker from Simsbury CT and right now I am just starting my junior year. I believe I posses the necessary skills, mentality, and attitude to play football at the next level. Right now as of September 1st My range for field goals is 55-60 yards, with the longest in game kick I have made being 41 yards in the rain. My kickoffs are consistently landing between the 5 and 2 yards into the end zone. I spend my free time during the seasons working on recovery for the next game or practice and I always make sure to keep my body healthy so I can be of use to my team. I make sure to maintain a consistent lift schedule during the season as well as the off season. Along with this I make sure to keep my grades up all year around as well as maintaining great relationships with me teachers and coaches. My Goal is to play diviion 1 football and my ultimate goal is to make it to the NFL, and I make sure that I do what I can so my goals can match my habbits. During the off season I play basketball and lacrosse but make sure to kick once a week to maintain my form. Along with this I ramp up my lifting schedule to 6 days a week with kicking related workouts specific to leg speed, strength, and most importantly flexibility. With flexibility in mind I stretch 30 minutes a day throughout the year to stay flexible and increase my flexibility. I have spent my summers since I was 14 working on a farm in my town. My routine throughout the summer Is working on the farm 5-6 days a week starting at 6 or 7 in the morning. Than following that I kick 40-50 balls 3-4 days a week working with the Central Connecticut Kicker 1 day a week . On days I don't work I make sure to attend football lift. I stay consistent throughout the year on my commitment to Football and I am always working to get better in any way possible. I am willing to do whatever it takes to play football at the next level. My pation for football goes beyond kicking and I enjoy learning about and obtaining knowlage of the game. I am well liked by my teamates and make sure to make a possitive contobution to my team on and off the field. I lead by example for the younger kids on the team and always put out 100% effort in whatever Im doing. I never back down from a challange and I thrive off pressure. Instead of letting it scare me I channel it into extra focus for kicking and I believe that my ability to handle pressure Is my best football skill. There is nothing in this world I love more than football and I would loe an opportunitty to play at the next level. I like the north east but am willing to go play in any location or climate. Thank you very much for taking time to look at me and thank you for your consideration.
