My name is Isaiah Barnes, I have been playing sports since I was 3 years old. Sports have played a significant role and made an impact on my life. My parents have helped me become a person of good character. I am respectful, responsible, loyal, honest, determined, motivated, dedicated, hardworking, and most of all teachable. I am a team player and I’ll always want my team to succeed. My character defines who I am, the choices I make, and the person I want to become. I was blessed to have an opportunity to have played mostly every sport and have my stepfather, coach and guide me along the way. I have played club football since I was 5 years old. I have played WR, Corner, Cornerback, and Safety in both Flag and Tackle Football. This is my senior year in high school and I started as X-Split End position, Kick and Punt Returner for KIPP DC College Prep. I am seeking a college or university that will help me grow as an athlete and person. I want to be somewhere that will not only put academics first but my mental and physical health as well. It is my desire to play football in College and become a dynamic student athlete. I am always willing to learn and ready to put in the work. Through hard work, motivation, and determination, I will be able to push through challenges and develop my skills on and off the field. I know that I will make a good addition to any college or university's football team if given the chance.
