Cameron Bolen '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Cameron Jacob Bolen, and the sport that I play is football. The game of football has influenced me to be a humble and respectful man through discipline and hard work. I became interested in football when I was 7 years old. I was too small to be a linemen and too slow to be a skilled back. That's when they decided that out of the whole team, I was the only one fit to be our team's kicker. And ever since then I've been kicking for 9+ years. While playing football I've learned that I can be a leader and not a follower, also to do the right thing even when you think nobody is watching. My academic goals for high school is to get honor roll throughout the whole year and get higher than a 24 on the ACT. To be where I'm at today I've had to overcome the fact that I might be smaller than everybody else. But now if I do my job 100% on the field, I feel like I'm bigger than what my actual size is. Today, the skills that I have is I have pretty high accuracy kicking the ball both on kickoff and field goals, I can onside kick, I can make a tackle if you need me to, I can catch, I can throw, and I can help you win football games.
