Max O'Rourke '20 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to play college football at a highly competitive level as well as to attend a college where I can get a top-notch education. I also would like to play in a system that will utilize my strengths as a passer. As a student raised by educators (and also former NCAA Division II athletes), I get my job done in the classroom and I truly believe that the term "student-athlete" is well worded in that we athletes are at schools to be students first. Because of this, I will never be an academic concern to my coaches or have to worry about eligibility. As a player, college coaches will receive somebody with a strong work ethic, a leader, and a listener as well. I believe what sets me apart from other athletes is my "football IQ"; I feel like I am also a fast learner as well, picking up new concepts and schemes. I am very excited to see what my collegiate career holds and to see where this sport will take me in life.
