Kaleb Barnes '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kaleb Barnes, class of 2023; I am #7, a defensive captain with the Gadsden County Jaguar football team out of Havana, Fl, where Im currently listed as an ATH. Being a student-athlete requires hard work, discipline, and grit; with the grace of God, I have managed to balance the two consistently. Success on the field coincides with success in the classroom. I have maintained a 3.6 GPA in my studies and amassed over 70 tackles during my junior season on the field. I am vested in the betterment of not only myself but my team and community. I volunteer with several local nonprofit organizations and mentor whenever opportunities arise. I have found refuge in football; it is my passion and will always be a part of my life. As this chapter of my life closes, I would like nothing more than for the next chapter to begin with me playing at the collegiate level while seeking a degree in sports management. This has always been my dream. This has always been my plan.
