Matthew Jenkins '25 Recruiting Profile

It has always been a goal and a dream of mine to play football in college.  I am dedicated to football and demonstrate a high work ethic, and I work very well with my coaches and teammates.  What differentiates me is my determination, game IQ, vision on the field, and general intelligence.  I take pride in my effort to be the most physically and mentally prepared athlete on the field.  I am an effective leader in the classroom, on the field and in all my relationships.  I played Varsity baseball starting my 7th grade year at Oak Hall School, and Varsity football since 8th grade at PK Yonge Developmental Research School in Gainesville, FL.  I also played JV basketball at PK Yonge.  After my family moved from Gainesville to Jacksonville, I played Varsity football and baseball at Episcopal School of Jacksonville.  I am presently a scholar athlete at The Bolles School where I continue to work vigorously on achieving my goals which include acquiring an opportunity to play college football at a highly esteemed academic university.  Time management is a strength of mine that allows me to balance a rigorous academic courseload with the demands of training and performing year round. I am excited to make a meaningful contribution to my team and play at the next level.
