Hunter Manning '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Hunter Manning. I am 17 years old, 6' 4" - 260 lbs and live in Jacksonville Florida. I play baseball, football, basketball, and have participated in team sports for as long as I can remember. I have enjoyed attending a private Christian College Preparatory School my entire life. In additional to academic achievement, it breeds comraderie, brotherhood, and selflessness. My desire is to play on a team that wants to win with character first. There is no substitue for emphasizing the life lessons that can be learned through team sports. These lessons can minimize the consequences from making poor life choices and lead to confidence and rewards from making good life choices. The ability to listen and lead with conviction and compassion is a combination that cannot be beaten. An incentive for considering me for your program is that I speak little and let my hard work and actions talk for me. Another plus is that my little brother will be much bigger than me, and he always wants to follow in my footsteps!
