I have played Pop Warner Tackle Football since I was 8 years old. As a starting olineman, we were named, "Mid Florida Runner Ups", in my final season. As a Freshman in 2010, I started at Center and also wrestled on the the JV Wrestling Team. At the beginning of my Sophomore year in 2011, I started at Defensive End, Tight End and All Special Teams on our JV Team. Halfway through my Sophomore year, I was moved up to Varsity and shared time at Center, finishing 8-2 and reaching the 8A Regional Quarter Finals. In 2012, I received my second Varsity Football letter as the starting Right Guard and helping at Center, finishing the season at 7-3. This year, I started at Left Tackle, but because of my versatility on the line, I also started as R Tackle, R Guard and L Guard as needed. We clinched the 8A-2 District title along with the Conference championship. Our team went 2 deep in the playoffs as an undefeated team and ended our season with a record 11-1 for our school.
At the end of the season (2013), I was awarded an Honorable Mention for the Seminole All County Team and my coaches awarded me with the Most Improved Player of the year award for our team.
Every summer I have attended Football camps including; The University of Miami, Stetson Football and The University of Central Florida. Conditioning is very important to me and as of December 1, 2013, I workout 6 days per week with "Elite Fitness". Last year, I finished first on our team for spring season conditioning. As part of my Bright Futures Academic Scholarship, I volunteered as an assistant Pop Warner Football Coach (Over 100 hours) and helped take our team to the Championship Game in the Orlando Citrus Bowl.
I am an Honor Roll student completing AP and Honor classes. My goal, during my senior year, is to be the best football player and student I can be and earn a scholarship playing the game I love. I know I have the experience, drive, discipline and commitment to excel on the field and in the classroom. I look forward to earning the opportunity to play for a great football program and receiving an excellent college education.
