Tyree Taylor '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi, Coaches! Tyree M. Taylor here. It's been a dream of mine since I was about 8 years old to become a college athlete. I love the game of football and basketball. But love football the most. I think I'm a great throwing quarterback, but don't get the opportunity to showcase a lot of my talent. But when I do, it's on. I have been playing football and basketball since the age of 8. I started out with recreational leagues. I started football at school when I was in the 7th grade. Started at running back and wide receiver. My 8th grade year I was starting quarterback. When I got to high school for my freshman year, I made Varsity as the back-up quarterback and saw action in about 4/5 games.  My sophomore and junior year I was starting quarterback, as well as going into this upcoming season. I have also been playing cornerback on defense, to get me more noticeable. I am pretty good at that position as well.  I have worked hard and will continue to work hard on and off the field, in hopes that someone will give me the opportunity to play/win for their team.  My first priority as a student athlete is to have a great performance in the classroom. My parents, teachers, & coaches have instilled a lot of time in preparing me for life after high school and I know I'm ready for what's to come. If you were to speak with any of the names people, there's no doubt in my mind that they will tell you my character of honesty, trustworthy, dependable, hard working, and obedient. My goal is to become a star. And I know I have to be able to perform on and off of the field for that to happen.I just need the opportunity. If possible, check out my highlight video.
