I gained interest for football when I played my first spring game. I loved the contact and overall I just loved that I had a task to complete every play. Although the game of football is something I love to play, it has taught me many things from the following: Coaches, Teammates, and playing against other competition. The game of football is beauty to my eyes, but I wouldn’t be able to play football without good grades. My academic goal is to graduate with honors and possibly become a valedictorian or a class president.
In football I had to overcome many obstacles. Whether if it was transportation to practice, people doubting me, or me just becoming better as a student-athlete, but I never let my obstacles stop me. I’m a quick visual learner and I love to listen to music. Overall I’ve learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership through the years I’ve been playing football. I’m looking for a good program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on any football program. Thank You.
