Being named a team captain as a sophomore was the highlight of my high school career. However, I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete this year. Having to opt out of my senior year to protect against possibly bringing Covid-19 to my sickly brother was devastating, but I would do anything to protect the people I love. Being sidelined and away from my team was humbling. Having to train harder and do more to get recruited. This experience has helped me grow as a person and lead me to re-focus my own efforts on becoming an ELITE Safety more than capable of playing at the college level.
I was never fortunate enough to play for a playoff team, but I know what it's like to play with a group of guys I call family. I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership without a trophy. I am a big time competitor so I look forward to winning more than regular season games at the next level. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. I won the "Iron Man of the Year award" as a freshman. My mindset hasn't changed; I will always strive to be the best I can possibly be.
