UPDATED INFORMATION: College Transfer Student, with 3+ years of sports eligibility remaining + 1 year redshirt (NCAA ID#: 2206591038) - Willing to consider a PWO to prove myself!
Hey Coaches. I just want to let you know that I intend on transferring schools for the Summer 2024 semester and I’m looking for an academic as well as a football program that fits my needs. I'm current taking classes at FAU. I attended Virginia University of Lynchburg (VUL), a very small NCCAA school in the fall of 2023. I have no transfer restrictions and I have full permission from my head coach, position coach and team compliance officer to reach out to coaches and colleges. (Their contact information is below if you want to reach out to them.) I have 3 years of sports eligibility left (+1 year redshirt).
Last year, I was a high school student athlete and in my last year I had 28 receptions for 500+ yards and 10 TDs. When you need a first down I am that go to guy to go too. In the redzone there is NO ONE better to go to than me. I track the ball very well on deep balls and create space and separation when running routes. This year, not only do I have the skills that caught your attention in high school, but now I have college experience.
The VUL football program played mostly D1 schools this season and there were many talented and seasoned players on my team. Through my hard work and skills, I was one of the very few true freshman who played in almost every game and the only freshman in my position who started for almost half of the games. I’ve attached some clips from my time there.
Why am looking to transfer? Well, I got an offer and was supposed to attend Alderson Broadus, but the school closed before the fall semester. I then went to Virginia University Lynchburg (VUL) where we played mostly D1 schools. I’ve left VUL – the school did not have the academic resources I needed for my future success – and now I’m taking classes at FAU for the spring semester while I find the perfect academic and athletic fit for me.

Dear Coaches:
My name is Logan Scott. I am a 2023 wide receiver, free safety, punt/kick returner and holder from South Florida. Currently, I am attending Somerset Academy at Pembroke Pines, but previously I attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School (STA), Fort Lauderdale, Florida. While at STA, I was coached by football greats such as Football Hall of Famer, Jason Taylor; former Bengal’s wide receiver, Glenn Holt; two of the most winningest coaches in South Florida history, Roger Harriott and legendary George Smith. During my 3 football seasons at STA, we won 1 national championship, 3 state championships and went undefeated for 2 straight seasons (overall, we lost 1 game in 3 seasons). In addition to playing football at STA, I played basketball and was the first chair flautist. During my time playing basketball at STA, I was ranked (by PrepHoops) in the top 100 players in Florida.
After my junior fall season, I decided to transfer to Somerset Academy at Pembroke Pines. The decision to transfer was not an easy one. I discussed it with my parents and with Coach Harriott. They all gave me their blessings. The reason I transferred was because I wanted to explore other positions in football – so I chose a smaller program where I could really explore different positions. I believe this was the best high school football career decision I have made. (Also, Somerset has a blue-ribbon music conservatory which has allowed me to continue pursuing my interest in playing the flute.)
At Somerset, I walked onto a team that had been together for over 3 years and who had been district and state champions in their classification, and I was blessed to immediately earn a start on offense. Under the guidance of Coach Derrick Baker, I have been given an opportunity to play several different positions – wide receiver, free safety, punt/kick returner and holder.
I know I would make a dynamic and immediate impact to and on any team on which I play at the next level. My goal is to become an immediate positive contributor to a team looking for someone with the same qualities and work ethic as me.
