Alexander Day '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello coaches, my name is Alexander Day, I´m a class of 2023 5´8 defensive back and receiver from Tallahassee, Florida at Florida State University Schools. I fell in love with this sport in 1st grade because of how my mom always watched it and made it seem so fun. I never knew that her love for football would translate to my loving it to and building dreams for me. People around me such as my family especially my grandma and mom have built me the way I am today. These ladies motivate me today everyday. I've learned from football about myself that I am a hard worker who is always striving to do the best I can possible and that I am a trustworthy young man.  My academic goals in high school are to maintain a weighted  4.0 gpa and also to graduate on Principal's Honor Roll List.  My academic college goals are to graduate with a Bachelor's degree or higher and have a 3.5 gpa or higher all college. I want to graduate with a degree either in law studies and potentially become a lawyer or graduate with a sports medicine degree and become an athletic trainer to help other kids achieve their athletic dreams.  One big obstacle I've had to overcome is dealing with losing lots of close family members. They influence me to be the best person and athlete I can and make them proud. Some characteristics that make me stand out are that I am a hardworker who believes early is on time, I'm a multi sport athlete, caring for my teammates around me, leader,  always pushing the ones around me to go hard, and lastly that I'm a STUDENT athlete. School comes before sports.
