I became a football player because I enjoy putting my time and effort into something that can not only change provide a bright future for myself when I go to college but also make an impact on the people around me. The feeling of stepping onto the field with your brothers and working together to give everything you have to fight against another team and try to come out victorious is one of the best feelings ever. I started playing football in the 6th grade where my team made it to the finals in our league but came up short of winning. The next season I only got to play two games did not get to play the remainder of the season due to health issues. As I reached high school I became one of the best players on my JV team and at the end of our season nine players from our JV team got moved to varsity where each of us earned a starting spot in our first week. The next season wasn't the best but my junior year was the best year I've had. I racked up 64 tackles along with 2.5 sacks and 8.5 TFL. To add to that I had 2 forced fumbles, 2 fumble recoveries, and 2 pass deflection. I'm a very versatile player and I have played every position on the football field except for corner and safety.
My goal is to finish high school with a 3.5 GPA and get into the best college that I can so I have the chance to continue my journey for 4 more years. I have an amazing attitude and probably one of the most coachable players there is. I'm willing to do anything to benefit my team for example during my junior year I would have to swap jerseys during games to play different positions when a player would get injured or tired even though I did not want to I knew that there was no better option but me. I have the ability to learn every positions responsibility on almost every play with little repetition and I can also preform the jobs at a high standard myself. I have the ability to coach up younger players so they understand it and even remind the older players. I feel that if any college gave me the opportunity to be on their team I would be a player that they would never have a regret about offering.
