I am a 6ft tall defensive end/ slot receiver with a very deep gratitude for sports because my family came to the US from Cuba thanks to baseball and boxing. So for me, it's more than a want; it's a sincere appreciation and love that I can be an athlete. Even though I started playing football later than most of the boys my age, my willingness to learn, passion, work ethic, and dedication to the game has provided me the opportunity at Saint Edward's to be a starter on the varsity team for three years running now. I sincerely love football and want to continue to play in college, being I am easy to coach.
My work ethic and dedication extend to my studies so as to remain on the honor roll. It’s so very important to me to continue my education by attending a college with a mechanical engineering or a strong business curriculum and an outstanding football program.
