Matthew Kane '20 Recruiting Profile

My name is Matthew Kane. I am a junior at Windermere Preparatory School in Windermere, Florida where I have a 4.3 weighted GPA and am ranked in the top 15% of my class.  I am a three sport athlete.  Playing football in college is a goal I intend to achieve. I am a 6'2'/190 pound OLB.   I would describe myself as an explosive pass rusher with: effective power and finesse moves;  strength in coverage both man and zone; capacity to close space well; ability to gets off blocks and contribute in the run stop.  Throughout the offseason, I will be focusing on adding mass, increasing strength and agility.

I am a strong student, active in my community and a leader on and off the field.  I can't think of a better opportunity for a young man to pursue the game he loves while getting a great education.  I am excited for my future in college football and would love to have a chance to show you what I know I can do! I am proud to announce that I was named to the u18 USA Football Select Team that will compete in Dallas in January!
