As a student-athlete I have always wanted to attend a college that would allow me to study business (mainly finance and sports management) as well as play football at the next level. I have spent my high school career preparing myself for that. The same commitment that I have in the classroom, I bring to the football field. I feel that my commitment, determination and my ability to overcome challenges make me a great candidate for any team. I think what sets me apart from other student-athletes is my football IQ. I have been studying the game and watching film since I was in little league. I was fortunate enough to have learned not just about my position but what players are suppose to do on both sides of the ball. Being able to process the development of a play quickly, helps you to make better decision and keep up with game speed. Having a high football IQ helps me to be a better teammate. There are times when plays are broken and if you see that sometimes you can help with recovery or minimizing the effect. If we understand each others role then we can work together better to accomplish the teams goal.
