When I was a kid, I never really wanted to play football. I did not even know what football was. I played soccer for most of my life. However, when 7th grade came everything changed for me. I was walking down the hallway and the football coach said that I should try out. In my head, my answer was no, but if it was not for my best friend Kristian, I would not be the same person I am today. Immediately once I practiced, I was engrossed in football. I loved every aspect of it. Most of all the hitting aspect of it. Football feels like a way to just let your emotions run free. As I progressed in my life playing football, I realized that to be the best you have to do what the best does not do. This was ingrained in my head by my dad at an early age. My dad has molded me to be dedicated to school and grades. Since my dad is an immigrant from Nigeria, he has worked incredibly hard to give me a good life with many opportunities. So, focus on my grades and future first, because at the end of the day if football does not work out that is what will be paying the bills. So, my goal is to get a 4.0 GPA and go to college. In college, I want to finish and get my degree. I also want to get my MBA. In my life, I have also had to overcome my challenges. I do not have those "came from nothing" challenges. My changes do not seem as big but for me, they were and are still hard to overcome. For example, having faith in myself and confidence in everything I do, and staying humble. When life is going well it is hard to stay humble, but to be successful I need to be humble. I have sort of overcome the confidence problem. Before I do anything, I tell myself that God got me in everything I do. My skills are; Hardworking, compassionate, putting others before myself, learning drills and coaching fast, and lastly the ability to make the most out of every situation.
