Garand Nowell '26 Recruiting Profile

As a student athlete I handle my business on and off the field. Academically, I have been on the accelerated path since the 7^th grade. I have been taking honors high school courses since the 8th grade. I am currently taking an advanced placement courses for American Literature. I am an active member of the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Committee and have been awarded many certificates of achievements for my performance in the classroom. I am interested in pursuing a degree in aviation or turf management.

Athletically, I have been playing full contact football since the age of 6. I have attended many collegiate camps from Alabama, FSU, Troy, to Southeastern. I have received personal training sessions from the time I played recreational football through my middle school football career. This past season, I was the only freshman on our team that started every game as a varsity player.

I am very loyal and dependable. I encourage my teammates on and off the field. I am a hard worker and do what is necessary to get the job done. I will play whatever role on the field that helps my team be successful. I am someone who everyone looks up to and believe in creating and maintaining a positive learning environment. I will be an asset for any college that offers academic rigor and athletic competitiveness.
