Dexttre Mincey '26 Recruiting Profile

It is my aspiration to be the first of my four siblings to attend and graduate from a four year university to earn a degree in sports medicine.  It is my goal to use both my love of football,  athletic and academic ability to attain this personal goal.  I have been connected to football my whole life, from watching college football games with my dad at two years old to convincing my parents to let me play football with the local recreation park at ten years old.  I later went on to play one year at the middle school level and 2 years on varsity in high school. 

I am a good candidate for your team because of my great attitude, loyalty, willingness to be a team player, and I am self motivated. What makes me different from other recruits is my work ethic, leadership skills, and I am a coachable athlete. I am able to accept constructive criticism knowing it is for the good of myself and the team. I demonstrate the above qualities both on and off the field. In the classroom, I work hard to keep good grades and when not satisfied with my grade in the class, I work that much harder to get them to the standard I have set for myself.
