Hello Coaches,
The day my mom put a basketball in my hand, I had no idea I would develop a deep love and passion for the game of basketball. At a early age I have always desired to play at the collegiate level. In addition, to my love and passion for basketball, I am also motivated by my sister and best friend who both passed at an early age. As a student athlete at your college, I would like to pursue a degree as a Wildlife Biologist. I have a love for wildlife and animals and would like to be a Zoologist in the future. I am inspired by Steven Irwin, a wildlife biologists. He inspires me because, Irwin did not always have immediate success as a wildlife biologists. I can recall trying out for my seventh grade basketball team, I failed to make the team. However, I did not allow it to defeat me or effect my determination. Therefore, as a student athlete I will strive in the classroom as well as on the court. Furthermore, as a student athlete, I possess many positive qualities, such as being teachable, dedicated, and responsible. In conclusion, I look forward to being a part of your college, athletic department, and basketball program.
Respectfully,
Jamarcus D. Glover
