I began playing tackle football at the age of 5. I immediately fell in love with the game and have pushed myself to become the best player I could possibly be ever since while learning important techniques. I have been a dual sport athlete since the age of 5, playing football, baseball and some track/field.
I am Class of 2022 and now play for Lovejoy High School in Clayton County (previously played on Varsity at Langston Hughes High School #31). Lovejoy has a successful and intense program that has a history of winning. Enrolling at Lovejoy due to address change, I started at both free safety or at times box safety due to my tenacity in 10th grade at Langston Hughes. My freshman year at Langston Hughes I started on Junior Varsity at cornerback. I have already become acclimated with the defensive scheme at Lovejoy under position Coach Jackson as my Wildcat teammates and I prepare to have a great season. The defense at Lovejoy appear to be a zone based defense. I have been training at home and participating in speed and agility training with Coach Mitchell this offseason. I was recently timed at a 4.52 in the 40 yard dash by Coach Mitchell and I will be faster before the season begin. In reviewing my film, you will see highlights of me playing free safety and box safety in 10th grade, while preparing to give you a lot to look at in this upcoming 11th grade year.
The importance of education has been instilled in me from preschool and currently imply myself in my studies at Lovejoy (previously at Langston Hughes). I have attended charter schools since first grade in Atlanta, until I began my education in high school. I currently have an GPA of 3.2 and just completed my first semester at Lovejoy with a 3.2 during the pandemic. The last two semesters I have been taking SAT classes to prepare myself for upcoming SAT testing, in hope to record a strong score. I was previously scheduled to take the SAT test on April 7th, due to the current pandemic will have to wait for a later date.
Outside of my rigorous training schedule as part of my high school team, I am always working to improve my strength, speed and agility ( having trained with Level Up Sports, lead by Antonio Mitchell). In addition, I have attended Rivals Camp sponsored by Adidas, 7 on 7 tournament at University of Georgia, and plan to attend the upcoming Ryzer camp. Importantly, I am also a team leader, trying to lead by example through my significant playing experience, work ethic, competitive spirit, sportsmanship and coach-ability.
Playing collegiate football has been a goal of mine for many years. I want to attend a college where I can play football at the highest level of competition possible, but that college must also offer an exceptional education. I look forward to finding the school that provides the best overall fit, and I will promise that I will always give my very best and do whatever possible to help the team succeed.
