Playing at the next level has been a priority of mine since I first entered middle school. The desire to compete has increased during my high school career. I have been blessed with the opportunity to play the game of football which I love, and I have also been surrounded by great opportunities to be a student of the game. Playing alongside the seniors during my freshmen season taught me the importance of leadership and cooperation in life. It also taught me the importance of having a fearless mindset. My teammates showed me what it would take to accomplish the goals I wanted to accomplish. I was able to learn that the outcome I sought would be determined by how much I invested into myself as a student, and as an athlete. Many of the seniors went on to play college football and their success has provided me with the hope and belief that hard work both on and off the field will pay off.
I have set a goal to leave my school better than I have found it. I want to start a tradition of winning and of competing at the highest level. I want younger athletes and students to look at my attitude, work ethic, academics, and participation in the community as an example to follow and to chase their own dreams. I believe that my success in the classroom (maintaining a 4.0 GPA) and my non-stop motor on the field and in the weight room will set me apart from the competition. I will continue to work hard and I will continue to cherish every single opportunity I am given. Thank you!
