Growing up in a small town I was an undersized guy who overcame many adversities. As I have matured, I've realized that I can be the best version of me, both on the mat and off. Everything changed for me in 2015 when my stepdad suggested that I should try out for wrestling. The first year of wrestling was both enjoyable and challenging; but my mom, who is my rock, gave me the guidance to never give up. As a result, it's three years later and am now a three time county champ. I placed second in state this year, and I was elected as the Varsity Captain as a Freshman. Wrestling has given me confidence, discipline, leadership skills and pride in myself and my team.
My goal is to attend a college that offers Criminal Justice. My career choice is Game Warden. My education and future career is extremely important to me. I am hardworking and will be enrolling in dual college classes in my tenth grade year to get a head start.
Ideally, I would like to attend college in the South East Region. That being said, I want to attend a University/College that will challenge me and allow me to reach all of my athletic and academic goals.
