Michael Blizzard '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ryan Blizzard, I attend John Milledge Academy in Milledgeville, GA. I am 17 years old and am a rising senior in high school. I previously started my freshman year in football on special teams returning punts and kickoffs, and I started quarterback, over a senior, for the varsity team when I was a sophomore. I became more serious about it the summer before my junior year and really hit the weight room hard and started pushing myself really hard. I started once again my junior year over 2 senior quarterbacks. Our offense was very relied on the rushing attack although we did put the ball in the air sometimes. One of the most important thing to do and show as a quarterback is leadership and dedication. Quarterbacks are leaders on and off the field of play. Quarterbacks direct the team in the right direction. I would love to just go to the next level of education and at the same time play the sport that I love the most. I run a 4.80 in the 40 yrd dash, bench 185, squat 305, and jump a 23 in. vert and 11 in. broad. I am 6'1 at 175 lbs. I know that when I play in college that the strength and conditioning will take care of itself. I received an All Region 1st team award my junior year, and also received the Best Offensive Skill Back MVP Award and also was an Iron Trojan, which means a player makes a maximum of 23 workouts during the summer. I have many things I want to major in, the most important being either athletic training or criminal justice. I hope to make a huge impact on a college football team one day or night. I have set many high goals in my life but this is the highest one yet. Thank You for the consideration!!
