My name is Tyler Jarvis and I am currently a senior at George Walton Academy which is located in Monroe, GA. My dream is play college football for a team that wants me to be there. I'm not looking to play specifically for a Division 1 school. I just want to hopefully attend a college that will give me a great education so I can have a successful life after sports. I have always played 3 sports in my life: Football, Wrestling, and Baseball. Football has always been my love of all. I have always been successful in football as well as wrestling. I have won 4 youth state championships, 4 national championships and have been selected to wrestle for Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Georgia many times. I won state my freshman year and was ranked 10th in the nation as a freshman/sophomore in wrestling. My sophomore year, I was ranked 3rd in the nation but I decided not to wrestle so I could focus on football. My freshman year in football, I earned a starting position at defensive end during the playoffs and started in the state championship game. I played running back some on Varsity and also some linebacker. My sophomore year, I started out the season starting at linebacker but we needed a defensive end so the coaches decided to move me to defensive end. I also long snapped every game my freshman, sophomore, and junior year except for 1 game my freshman year. Early in the season of my sophmore year, our starting senior tight end, who has been offered a scholarship at Jacksonville State University, broke his collar bone. We were in desperate need for a replacement tight end. The coaches decided to move me from running back to tight end to see what I could accomplish. I ended up playing there all season even when the starter returned because of my ability to learn the position. My junior year, I was the starting fullback on offense and I was somewhat of a utility player on defense. I started at linebacker for the first half of the season and defensive end for the rest of the season. I LOVE football as a sport and I hope I can advance my game to a higher level!
