My name is Andrew Johnson. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 190 pounds. I bench press 255lbs., parallel squat 450lbs. and power clean 295lbs. I run the 40 yard dash in 4.55 seconds. I am very agile, doing the dot drill in less than 37 seconds. My L-Drill time is 6.66 seconds, and my pro-shuttle time is 4.21 seconds. I am fast, and I was awarded the 40 Yard Champion at Furman University’s Summer Football Camp 2012.
I am a junior at McIntosh High School in Peachtree City, GA., and a second year varsity QB. I am a dual sport athlete playing baseball (catcher) and football (quarterback), but my primary sport is football. We run a spread offense. I learned the offense very quickly, just as I learn very quickly in the classroom. I am ranked in the top 10% of my class, and I have a 4.0 GPA. As a starting sophomore, I was recognized an Honorable Mention to the All-Region Team last year and First Team All Region this year. As a junior, I have been named one of Fayette County’s Super 12. According to my coach, I show great poise on the field. I am capable of making quick decisions on the field. I am a disciplined athlete with a work ethic that reflects in my performance on and off the field. I make sure I accomplish everything to my best ability. I make my teammates better by pushing them and leading them by example. I want to play football at the college level. I am looking for a school that will capitalize on my talents. I have not chosen a major yet, but my interests are in sports, science, engineering, and business. My goal is to be a leader on my team, and to make an impact on each and every game, practice, or scrimmage I participate in. I strive to Win the Day everyday in everything I do.
