Naʻinoa Smith Akana '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Naʻinoa Smith Akana. I am from Oahu, Hawaiʻi. My collegiate goals are to get a good education for my future, meet new people, and just to have fun. On the field I always follow the directions but also take action when I need. I will get the job done no matter what it is. I will give my full effort on and off the field with academics and athletics. I feel like what makes me different from others is my will. My will to fight to the last minute through any game or battle we have for my team. I believe that A whole team is only as strong as weakest link so I believe teamwork is key to have on a winning team. Academically, Iʻm not a "school type of guy" you could say but I will always keep my grades up no matter what.
