My name is Na'ali'i Kanakaole-Wong, I'm 5'10, 200 lbs. and attend Kea'au High School on the Big Island of Hawaii. I currently have all my credits to graduate and am excited to transition into the next stage of my life. I have played football since pop warner and due to weight restrictions, I always found myself playing and competing with and against bigger kids. Even throughout highschool I continued to face bigger athletes. Because of this experience I constantly train and work on my technique to improve and enhance my skills against bigger, faster and stronger players. I enjoy playing football and I have continued to grow and develop as a student athlete. My teachers and coaches will tell you that I'm motivated, determined and committed to succeed, be the best at what I do both as a student and as an athlete and would make a great asset to any team.
I want to get into a college where I can pursue my Bachelors in Biology in hopes of getting into a Pre-med program and to also continue playing football as it is a passion of mine. The team is my family away from my family and helps keep me grounded and focused in my values and my goals. It has definitely help shape me into the "stand up" guy I am today. Some of my skills I possess on the field are, I can hit, run ball, block, and quarterback defense just to name a few.
I want to be an inspiration to other kids who feel they don't have what it takes to succeed in this world and intend to make that happen by volunteering my spare time mentoring and doing positive activities with them. I volunteer with Special Olympics and seeing these kids participate in various sporting events is one of my main motivators. Being around them has continued to humble me and strive to be great to the best of my ability.
