What makes me different?
I will always be a student on the field, in the classroom, or in life. Being a good student has been my main priority. I take pride in my attendance, work ethic, and time management skills. I am actively involved in Student Council and National Honor Society at my High School. I have embraced the grind of being a Student Athlete from a very young age and see the continued benefits of doing that the rest of my life. Academics have always been important to me, they have created a strong foundation for me to build off of my dedication, mental toughness, integrity, and most importantly leadership.
The key qualities that I listed above, I take with me on the field and as teammate. Being a multi-sport athlete (baseball, football, competitive bass fishing) I have learned to adapt and adjust to different environments and situations. Competition brings out a continued desire for constant and consistent preparation. I will do whatever it takes to help my team succeed because of my love and passion for the game. I believe baseball is a team sport and I hold myself accountable as well as my teammates.
I am looking forward to taking what I have learned as a Student Athlete throughout my life thus far and growing more at the Collegiate level. I hope to earn a degree and eventually find a steady career all while doing what I love, playing Baseball and competing at higher level. I am confident that I will be a difference maker in my community and and to the program that I will be blessed to play for.
